Setting up Venafi CSP clients
The Venafi CSP is one of the ways to link Windows code signing workstations to the Trust Protection Platform server, which stores and manages use of private code signing keys. The Venafi CSP communicates with the Trust Protection Platform server over a TLS-encrypted REST API. The Venafi CSP supports both CSP and KSP and currently supports only RSA certificates.
The PKCS#11 driver is also supported on Windows. For more information, see Setting up PKCS#11 clients.
This section provides background and instruction on configuring and using the Venafi CSP. For information on installing the CSP, see Install CodeSign Protect Clients on signing workstations.
