Using the dashboards
The Venafi Trust Protection Platform™ dashboards are the default view when you open the web console. The various dashboards offer a high-level snapshot of the state of your security environment, giving you at-a-glance insight about potential areas of concern. Remember, however, you can view only information for objects to which your account has been given permissions.
There are four dashboards in the system, and depend on which product you are using:
-
All Certificates (dashboard): Gives insight into the certificates in your network that you have permission to view. Availability of this dashboard is determined by your Trust Protection Platform license.
Primary dashboard for TLS Protect.
Also available in SSH Protect, Client Protect, and Platform products.
For more information, see Working with the All Certificates (dashboard).
-
SSH Keys (dashboard): Shows information about SSH keys in your network that you have permission to view. Availability of this dashboard is determined by your Trust Protection Platform license.
Primary dashboard for SSH Protect.
Also available in TLS Protect, Client Protect and Platform products.
For more information, see Working with the SSH Keys (dashboard).
-
User and Client Device Certificate (dashboard): Similar to the All Certificates (dashboard), but shows only the user and client device certificates. Availability determined by your Trust Protection Platform license.
Primary dashboard for Client Protect.
Also available in TLS Protect, SSH Protect, and Platform products.
For more information, see Working with the User and Client Device Certificate (dashboard).
-
System Status (dashboard): Shows information about the Trust Protection Platform servers, or engines, that are connected to the underlying Trust Protection Platform database. This dashboard is available for all licensed products, but visibility is determined by role. By default, only users with the Master Admin role can see this dashboard. To grant others visibility to this dashboard, give them read/write permissions to the root folder of the Platform tree in Policy Tree.
Individual widgets represent distinct Trust Protection Platform servers.
Primary dashboard for Platform.
Also available in TLS Protect, SSH Protect, and Client Protect products.
For more information, see Working with the System Status (dashboard)
-
CodeSign Protect (dashboard): Gives a high-level view of the number of projects, environments, users, and signings are happening in the CodeSign Protect product.
Available in CodeSign Protect.
