Managing multi-object applications
For example, if a GSK Application object maintains a CMS keystore that stores certificates consumed by multiple platforms—e.g., the IBM WebSphere HTTP Server and the IBM WebSphere Application Server—you can create a separate policy for each consumer platform. In this case, you might create a policy for certificates consumed by the IBM HTTP Server and another policy for certificates consumed by the IBM WebSphere Application Server.
To apply the platform folders, you must create a separate GSK Application object under each policy, and then associate each GSK Application object with its respective certificates.
In the end, the GSK Application object configurations are identical—they are just created under different folders and associated with different certificates.
