Basic application configuration

The Basic application is a limited-functionality application object. It is created under a Device object to represent an unmanaged application. In function, the Basic Application object allows administrators to track unmanaged applications where certificates are installed and route notifications to the application contacts. When Trust Protection Platform runs a network validation on a certificate associated with a Basic Application object, it validates that the certificate is available at the address/port configured in the Basic Application object.
