IBM GSK configuration
The IBM Global Security Kit (GSK) is a library that can be integrated with server platforms such as IBM WebSphere MQ Server and Client, IBM HTTP Server (IHS), IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS), and IBM Tivoli to enable SSL-protected communication.
GSK supports the CMS keystores.
GSK also provides a command line interface that can be used to generate, manage, and import certificates for supported keystores. In Venafi Trust Protection Platform™, the GSK application object provides the configuration parameters that Trust Protection Platformrequires to manage certificates for supported keystores—either internally or remotely—using the GSK command-line interface.
Certificates and key pairs stored in these keystores can be consumed by a variety of GSK-integrated platforms offered by IBM.
The GSK application driver also supports provisioning certificates to IBM GSK's trust store.
NOTE For information about the trust store, see About creating and configuring trust stores.
This section provides the information you need to manage certificates in GSK keystores.
