JKS Configuration
The Java Keystore (JKS) is a library that can be integrated with the JKS-integrated server platforms to enable SSL-protected communication. JKS also provides a Keytool utility that can be used to generate, manage, and import certificates for JCEKS and JKS keystores.
In Venafi Trust Protection Platform™, the JKS Application object provides the configuration parameters that Trust Protection Platform requires to manage certificates for JCEKS and JKS keystores using the Java Keytool. Certificates and key pairs stored in these keystores can be consumed by JKS-integrated server platforms.
Some of the most common Java application servers include:
- GlassFish
- JBoss
- Jetty
- Tomcat
- WebLogic
