Tealeaf PCA configuration

Tealeaf CX is a customer experience management product from Tealeaf Technology. This product performs non-intrusive capture and analysis of web traffic in order for businesses to better understand how customers experience their website.

In order to perform this type of analysis against websites encrypted using SSL, Tealeaf provides a component called the “Passive Capture Application” or PCA. The PCA server is connected to the network infrastructure via a collection device, network tap, or switch spanning port. SSL traffic is then decrypted using the same private key that the web server uses, stored on the PCA server in Tealeaf’s proprietary PTL format.

NOTE  The Tealeaf PCA provisioning driver supports only the storage of PTL private keys on a TeaLeaf PCA server and does not support the use of an HSM.

This section provides the information required to provision web server certificates’ private keys to Tealeaf PCA servers.
