Blue Coat permission requirements

The Username Credential that the Venafi Trust Protection Platform™ uses for authentication must be a Blue Coat user who has been given at least the Manage PKI and Manage Policy roles.

The Manage PKI role is required to manage certificates and keys in the Known Certificates and Keys and Trusted Certificates areas of the Blue Coat SSL Visibility Appliance web administrative interface.
The Manage Policy role is required if the Trust Protection Platform needs to be able to create lists, if they do not exist. If the creation of list is always managed outside of Trust Protection Platform, then only the Manage PKI role is required for the user.
