SQL Server channel

The SQL Server channel allows the CyberArk log server to record events to a Microsoft SQL Server database. To store events, you can use the Trust Protection Foundation database that you set up during installation or create a custom database.

IMPORTANT CyberArk highly recommends stopping all Trust Protection Foundation services prior to any scheduled database maintenance. Neglecting to so may produce unexpected behavior because Trust Protection Foundation is dependent upon the database for the majority of its configuration and certificate data. Trust Protection Foundation has been designed to handle brief loss of database connectivity due to network issues or similar anomalies but that should not be relied upon for extended database outages, especially those which are planned.
