Setting up notification channels
Channels provide the targets for where and how event logs are stored or transmitted to an external service. Channels are configured and managed in CyberArk Configuration Console's Tools > Logging node.
Channels store the information the CyberArk log server needs to deliver the log to the desired target. For example, MS SQL channel objects include the information needed to store messages in a database. SMTP channel objects include the information needed to send email messages with logged event information.
NOTE CyberArk Trust Protection Foundation - Self-Hosted channels support both IPv4 and IPv6 connections.
