Macro overview

CyberArk Trust Protection Foundation™ provides a flexible macro language that allows administrators to call variable input for system configuration fields. This macro language is particularly useful when configuring system notifications and workflows. Using the macro language, administrators can dynamically populate fields such as message recipient or sender for SMTP notifications, workflow approver for certificate approvals, or certificate names and locations for certificate expiration notices.

DID YOU KNOW?  You can use macros with the CyberArk Adaptable Log Channel driver to implement a custom action in response to events that are logged by Trust Protection Foundation. For more information, see Using CyberArk's Adaptable Log Channel.

This section provides an overview of where macros can be used in the CyberArk Trust Protection Foundation interface as well as general guidelines on CyberArk Trust Protection Foundation macro syntax.
