Adding a public or private key to a keyset

You can add both public and private keys to a keyset using SSH Protect.

To add a public or private key

  1. From the SSH Protect menu, click SSH Keys.
  2. Locate the keyset to which you want to add a public or private key instance.

    For more information, see Finding SSH assets using filters.

  3. From the Keyset Details page, click Add New.

    NOTE  If you don't see the Add New button, verify you have proper permissions to add a key.

  4. To add a new OpenSSH key, choose OpenSSH in the Format field, and then select its Options.

  5. To add a new Tectia key, choose SSH2 (Tectia) in the Format field, and then select its Options.

  6. Specify Allow From, Deny From, and Forced Commands, as needed.

  7. When you're done, click Save.
