Certificate installations
The key to certificate management is tracking where certificates are being used in your environment. If you are not properly tracking certificates in your environment, you risk unexpected outages of production systems or serious security compromises. You use "installations" to do the following:
- Track where certificates are installed in your environment.

Automate the installation process each time a certificate is renewed.
Tthere are two places you can see information on installations associated with a certificate:

Certificate inventory list. When you are looking at the certificate inventory list, look in the installations column. If an installation is associated with a certificate, the number of installations is shown with a drop-down arrow. Click the arrow to expand the list of installations.
Each installation has an action button that allows you to perform relevant actions. The actions that are available depend on both the installation's status, as well as your account's permissions relative to the certificate and installation.
Click the X icon next to the number in the installations column to collapse the installations list.

Certificate details page. When you are looking at the details of a certificate, click Installations in the side bar to see all the devices on which the certificate has been installed.
