Re-import a certificate from a network address

When you have a certificate being tracked in Trust Protection Platform, you may find that you want to import an updated version of the certificate from a network source. For example, if the certificate is renewed outside of Trust Protection Platform, you need to get the new certificate into the system easily.

You can import a certificate directly from a URL using the following procedure.

Import a certificate from a network address

1. From the TLS Protect menu bar, click Inventory > Certificates.
2. Locate the certificate you want to update.
3. From the quick action button, click Import.
4. Click find the certificate in a network location.
5. Enter the hostname or IP address where the certificate is installed.
6. Enter the port number that the certificate is installed on.
7. Click Find.
8. Review the new certificate values, then click Import.
