Understanding CodeSign Protect States

CodeSign Protect Projects can be in one of a number of states. The state of each Project is shown in the Status column of the Project list. Click Project in the CodeSign Protect toolbar to open the Project list.

Status Description
Draft

The Project has been created but has not yet been submitted for approval, or its approval has been submitted and rejected.

To submit it for approval, open the Project and click Submit for Approval.

A Project in this state can be deleted at any time without approval.

Pending

The Project has been submitted for approval, but approval has not yet been given. The next step is for a Code Signing Administrator to either approve or reject the pending request.

A Project in this state can be deleted at any time without approval.

Enabled The Project is approved and is ready for use. If this Project should no longer be enabled, either disable it or delete it.
Disabled The Project is not available for use, but it is still in CodeSign Protect. You can leave the Project in this state without harm, or you can enable or delete the Project.
Queued for deletion

A deletion request has been submitted, but the deletion hasn't occurred yet.

If the Object Delete Flow includes a required approval action, approvers should either approve or reject the request.

If the approvals have been given, or if the Object Delete Flow does not require an approval action, the Project will briefly appear in this state until Venafi Platform performs the deletion.
