Creating a single or multi-select list in a custom field

You can create a single or multi-select list to apply to objects.

  1. From the menu, click Configuration > Custom Fields.

  2. In Available Custom Fields, click +Add New Custom Field.
  3. From the Field Type drop-down list, choose List.
  4. Choose Single Select.
  5. Enter a Display Name.

  6. If you want the Display Name to be recorded in the database, select the check box Store the Display Name.

  7. If you want to specify something other than the Display Name to be recorded, clear the check box then enter the stored name.

  8. When you're done, click Save.

  1. From the TLS Protect menu bar, click Configuration > Custom Fields.

  2. In Available Custom Fields, click +Add New Custom Field.
  3. From the Field Type drop-down list, choose List.
  4. Choose Multi-select.

    If you want the Display Name to be recorded in the database, select the check box Store the Display Name.

  5. If you want to specify something other than the Display Name to be recorded, clear the check box then enter the stored name.

  6. When you're done, click Save.
