Setting up PKCS#11 clients
The PKCS#11 driver provides the connection between Trust Protection Platform and Linux, macOS, and Windows workstations on which code signing takes place. Once installed, the PKCS#11 driver needs to be configured to connect to the Trust Protection Platform authentication and virtual HSM servers. Once configuration is done, grants can be issued and code signing requests can be sent to Trust Protection Platform.
Configuration of the PKCS#11 driver is done using the pkcs11config utility. This section includes steps on basic configuration and reference material on the pkcs11config utility. For information in installing the PKCS#11 drivers, see Install CodeSign Protect Clients on signing workstations.
