Log Summary

The Log Summary summarizes all events of the last 7 days. It also breaks down which events occurred in the last hour and in the last 24 hours. The events are grouped by Event Type (Severity).

The data for the tab is loaded once the node is first selected. While the data is being loaded, progress information is displayed in the top section of the view. The data will stay loaded even if another node is selected before returning to the summary view. To update the data, click Refresh from the Actions Panel.

To see which event occurred, expand one or more Event Type nodes by clicking on the icon. Each event will have the name (Event ID), and it’s source (Application) displayed, along with a count for the Last Hour, 24 hours, and 7 days.

Right-clicking a column header gives you options on how to present the data.

Summary of Events

The summary of events presents all events present in the log by count and as percentage of all events. Right-clicking a column header gives you options on how to present the data.
