NetScaler prerequisite configuration

To enable Trust Protection Platform to provision certificates on supported NetScaler devices, you must complete some prerequisite tasks related to the HTTPS connection method:

1. Verify that the Nitro API is enabled.

   Typically, the Nitro API is enabled by default on the versions supported by Venafi (11.1 to 13.0)1 For specific supported versions and builds, please see System requirements for Venafi components..

2. Make sure that all instances of Trust Protection Platform that are interacting with NetScaler using Onboard Discovery, Provisioning, and/or File Validation have direct network access to it on port 443/tcp.
