Uninstalling Venafi Trust Protection Platform
You can uninstall Trust Protection Platform from either the command line or by using the Windows Control Panel.
The uninstall process removes program files, services, shortcuts, and registry keys.
The files that are maintained when you uninstall are:
- \Program Files\Venafi\Logs\TPP Configuration Log.txt
- \Program Files\Venafi\Logs\TPP Configuration Log.txt.reg
The .reg file is a backup of everything that we removed from the registry by the un-installation process.
NOTE There are items in this file that are not portable. That means you cannot import this file on a new Windows server and expect to use it to restore on the new machine. Instead, re-install on the new machine using the software or hardware key used to encrypt this system.
