Changing the management type to Provisioning

You can change the Management Type of a certificate in two different ways. If the certificate's settings are locked at the policy level, then you must edit the policy.

IMPORTANT  You must have the View and Write permissions in order to make changes.

To edit an individual certificate's management type

  1. From the TLS Protect menu bar, click Inventory > Certificates.

  2. Using Filters or Search, find the certificate you want to edit.
  3. Click the certificate's name.
  4. In the certificate's details window, click Renewal Details.
  5. Click Edit.
  6. (Conditional) If the management type isn't locked at the policy level, then you can change the Management Type.
  7. When you're done, click Next.
  8. Click Close.

  1. From the TLS Protect menu bar, click Configuration > Folders.

  2. From the list, click the folder (policy) you want to edit.
  3. In the sidebar, click Certificate Policy.
  4. Under General Settings, change the Management Type.
  5. Click Save.
