Viewing the sshd_config file

Trust Protection Platform uses a server's sshd_config file to discover SSH keys. The sshd_config file contains information that tells Trust Protection Platform where to look for keys. You can view the raw data in the config file using SSH Protect.

To view the sshd_config file

  1. From the SSH Protect menu, click Devices.
  2. In Device Inventory, click the name of the device that contains the sshd_config file you want to view.
  3. On the device page, click SSH Server in the side navigation bar.
  4. Click Configuration.

Raw data from the sshd_config file is displayed as read-only.
