About CyberArk Trust Protection Foundation administration consoles
CyberArk Trust Protection Foundation provides two consoles:
-
A web-based console that can be launched by connecting to Trust Protection Foundation using a browser. This web console provides two experiences (during our multi-year effort to unify into a single modern console):
-
Aperture - this is the modernized experience. Most activities (including non-admin activities) are part of this experience.
-
Policy Tree - this is the classic experience that used to be called WebAdmin. This experience is gradually being retired as features are moved to the Aperture experience. Most of the features in this experience are configuration and administrative activities.
-
-
CyberArk Configuration Console: A powerful MMC snap-in console that allows you to administer the settings of the Trust Protection Foundation installation, as well as work with Code Sign Manager - Self-Hosted and the Event Viewer. CyberArk Configuration Console allows you to control services, enable product components, configure database settings, update email notifications, control identity access including LDAP, AD, and SSO.
Customer Experience Improvement Project
When you install CyberArk Trust Protection Foundation, certain telemetry data is collected. This information is used for license compliance, and allows us to collect non-personally identifiable information about how you use the product. In return, you receive push notifications of important events (like software upgrade availability), as well as enhanced in-product help. CyberArk uses the data collected through this feature to make product road map decisions.
For more information see the CyberArk Data Privacy Policy for Trust Protection Foundation.
