Edit a certificate's installation details

IMPORTANT  You must have the View and Write permissions in order to complete this task.

To edit a certificate's installation details

  1. From the TLS Protect menu bar, click InventoryCertificates.

  2. Locate the certificate with the installation you want to change.
  3. Either expand the installations by clicking the down arrow next to the number of installations, or open the certificate details page and click Installations in the side bar.
  4. Locate the installation you want to edit, and then click the Edit action button.
  5. Make the desired edits.

    The available fields depend on the Installation type. If you are enabling remote key generation follow the appropriate instructions:

  6. To save your changes, choose one of the following options (if multiple options are available):

    • Save Installation Settings. This option will save the changes, but won't attempt to actually install the certificate on the device. This option is always available.
    • Save and Install. This option will save the changes, and will begin the process of provisioning the certificate to the device. This option is only available when the certificate is configured for installation, and has never been installed before.
