Configuring Bulk Provisioning Manager service module settings

Bulk Provisioning jobs that have run successfully are triggered automatically when new certificates appear in the source folders you've specified in the jobs settings. This is also true when existing certificates are imported with their private keys.

In Policy Tree, you can specify the frequency (in seconds) with which the Bulk Provisioning Manager checks the source folders defined in existing bulk provisioning jobs. And like other Trust Protection Platform service modules, the Bulk Provisioning Manager can be enabled or disabled.

To configure Bulk Provisioning Manager service module settings

  1. From the TLS Protect menu bar, click Policy Tree, then open the Platforms tree.
  2. In the Platforms tree, select the device object where the Bulk Provisioning Manager service module is installed, and then click it.

  3. From the Bulk Provisioning Manager > Settings tab, do the following:

    1. (Conditional) If you want to enable (or disable) Bulk Provisioning Manager, select (or clear) the Disable this module check box.
    2. In the Express Run Interval field, type (in seconds) how often Bulk Provisioning Manager should check the source folders configured in your bulk provisioning jobs for new certificates (enrolled or imported).

The default setting is 60 seconds.

    3. In the Express Run Retry Interval field, type (in seconds) how often Bulk Provisioning Manager should wait before retrying after a failed attempt.

Bulk Provisioning Manager retries five (5) times before putting a bulk provisioning job into a failed state.

The default setting is 60 seconds.

  4. When you're finished, click Save.
