Managing approval requests in the Policy Tree
Approvers can manage their assigned Approval Requests in the Workflow tree in the Policy Tree. Approvers can see their own approved, pending, and rejected Approval Requests.

- From the TLS Protect menu bar, click Policy Tree.
- Select the Workflow tree from the Tree drop-down menu.

In the Workflow tree, select Pending.
- Select the Workflow Approvals you want to approve or reject.
- Do one of the following:

to approve the Approval Request.
If a Workflow Injection Command Request is approved, Trust Protection Platform executes the SSH stream command.

Click
to reject the Approval Request.
If a Workflow Injection Command Request is rejected, Trust Protection Platform does not execute the SSH stream command.

Scheduling approvals is especially handy for Provisioning and Enrollment.
When you're ready to approve requests, you can schedule approvals for a later time and set the duration, or window, during which the approval can take place.
- From the TLS Protect menu bar, click Policy Tree.
- Select Workflow from the drop-down menu.

In the Workflow tree, select Pending.
- Select the Workflow Approval(s) you want to approve or reject.
- Click
Approve.

Choose Schedule Approval.

Specify the date and time for the approval and then select Approval Duration.

- Add comments, as needed.
- When you're done, click Save.

Click Scheduled to see your scheduled approvals.

- From the TLS Protect menu bar, click Policy Tree.
- Select Workflow from the drop-down menu.
- In the Workflow tree, select Scheduled.

Click the approval you want to edit. Details about the approval are displayed.
- To change the schedule, click
Approve .
- In the Approval window, select Schedule Approval.
- Edit the approval details then click Save.
NOTE If you change the approver for an item that is pending approval, the update may take up to four hours to complete. Changing this setting can adversely affect performance of the system. If you need to change this setting contact Venafi Support.

- From the TLS Protect menu bar, click Policy Tree.
- Select Workflow from the drop-down menu.

Click the Settings tab.
- In the Ticket Expiration box, enter the number of days a ticket can remain in Pending status before it is rejected.
- When you're done, click Save.
