Administrator setup

Before Owners can configure and request code signing projects, a number of tasks must be performed by the Master Admin and the Code Signing Administrator.

Some of the administrator tasks are Trust Protection Foundation-level tasks and others are specific just to CyberArk Code Sign Manager - Self-Hosted. All of the tasks for both Master Admin and Code Signing Administrator are included in this section.

Trust Protection Foundation Tasks (Master Admin)

• Connect to Active Directory or LDAP Identity Provider
• Connect to an HSM
• Configure SMTP settings

After these platform configuration tasks are complete, the Master Admin can assign a Code Signing Administrator to complete the code signing setup tasks. See Assign Code Signing Administrators for instructions.

Code Signing Administration Tasks (Code Signing Administrator)

• Install the Trust Protection Foundation MMC Snap-In Collection
• Set global code signing properties
• Create Certificate Authority (CA) templates
• Create Flows
• Create Environment Templates
• Define allowed signing applications
• Assign additional Code Signing Administrators
