About credential objects

Under certificate enrollment and provisioning, every CA template must reference the credential required to authenticate with a certificate authority (CA). Devices and applications also require credentials so Trust Protection Platform can authenticate with the device or application during provisioning and onboard validation operations.

You can create credential objects from the Credentials inventory pagen.

NOTE To create new credential objects, you must have the View, Write, and Create permissions under the Credential or Policy tree where you plan to create them.
